Subway’s Burning More Than Hot Subs
The nuggs guy who got free chicken nuggets for a year from Wendy’s ruined social media for fast food chains. If you don’t know, teenager Carter Wilkerson asked Wendy’s how many retweets for a year of free nuggets. Jokingly, the Wendy’s Twitter account said, “18 million.” It went viral and Wilkerson’s tweet became the most retweeted of all time, garnishing about 3.5 million.
Now every a-hole with a Twitter account is trying to get free stuff. Someone tried that with Subway and they weren’t having it. The only thing they gave the guy asking for free food was a massive burn.
Free subs are not up from grabs, America. So rest your Twitter fingers.
