The most shocking thing about this Coca-Cola ad featuring a horny girl, her horny brother, and their *surprise* horny mom lusting after the same man? The fact that “hot pool guy” is still a theme in 2017. Isn’t that the same played out fantasy as the pizza delivery guy who gets seduced by the lonely and sexy housewife?
If you thought the “shocking” part was going to be that a man lusted after another man in an international commercial, you are on the wrong site, friend. While we at Sauce Monsters always welcome dialogue and debate, we are very pro-LGBTQ. I’m not going to get all preachy and wag my finger at your beliefs. But I’m not going to sidestep important issues for fear of alienating an audience. It’s not by any means a unique move in 2017 to announce support for the gay community. But we are a new company and I want to take this trending video as an opportunity to establish from day 1 Sauce Monsters is very much in support of equal rights for our many LGBTQ friends and family. We don’t care who you love, marry, or disappoint during a one night stand. Just don’t be a dickbag.
