Ben Roethlisberger is Hosting A Block Party
In the most unshocking news of the year, Ben Roethlisberger announced he is returning for the 2017 NFL season. There literally isn’t one person who didn’t see that coming when Ben said he was toying with the idea of retirement. In other Big Ben news, the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback apparently threw a giant block party and every NFL writer and television analyst on Twitter was invited.
The verified accounts of people such as Michelle Beadle and Michael Hurley were, assumedly, trying to tag Roethlisberger during the unshocking announcement when they all realized they had been blocked. The blocks extend so far as to include people like the a dude who freelance writes for some no-name publication and has barely 2,000 followers. I like to think Ben was just shit faced one night, scrolling through his @mentions and just blocking everyone who said the slightest negative thing about him.
Anyway, here are the tweets as the Twitterverse realized Benny from the Block was having a party for one.
