Star Wars Land is Going to be Epic
Disney’s D23 expo is currently happening in Anaheim, California. Disney used the event as an opportunity to reveal a first look at the designs for their 14 acre Star Wars-inspired theme parks opening in 2019. There are parks being built in California and Florida.
Guests of the theme park will visit areas such as a never-before-seen planet, a trading port, and “one of the last stops before Wild Space.” There are two main attractions to look forward to. One ride allows park goers the chance to pilot the Millennium Falcon. The other locates people in the middle of a “climatic battle” between the First Order and the Resistance.
Admittedly, I’m not a huge Star Wars guy. I enjoy the movies. But I don’t think I’ve watched any of them more than once. However, this new theme park looks really cool. I can appreciate the amount of hard work and time it takes to design and build something of this magnitude. For that reason, I’ll definitely be one of the first people to visit the park, if it doesn’t sell out until 2026. And if it is sold out, I’ll head over to Super Nintendo World instead.
